Oduduwa gives the first gift.
As Oddua continued his walks around Oro, in his now slow pace, he stumbled upon a large crack in oro. This gap seemed to be very deep and dark. So deep in depth that even the eyes of Olodumare from oddua was not able to see beyond its darkness. It seemed as if it was a bottomless pit. Oddua, missed seeing this crack before due to the speed he was traveling in the beginning. (Oddua teaches us In Regla de Ocha if you walk your path too fast, or want to overcome certain obstacles in life in a rush you may miss a door of opportunity or miss the beauty your path brings). Oddua is already filled with happiness and JOY that Oro (earth) was created and while walking with Oro, gave birth to Oya.
Oddua, filled with these emotions, wanted to give Oro a gift to add to her beauty. Looking at this endless pit, he felt a feeling of loneliness, a certain hollow emptiness coming from this part of Oro. Oddua wished that Oro would not to feel in this manner and wanted Oro to feel that special emotion that Oddua was engaging in all the time. Oddua looking beyond the blue skies and through the dark space, he focused away from Oro and reached out to Olodumare. Once he knew his view was beyond the eyes of Oro he cried out to Olodumare. Then he explained to Olodumare the following, what I am feeling is not joy, happiness or excitement. It is different beyond the emotions of creation. It is a feeling that lights up my spirit and brings a warm glow. What is this new feeling Olodumare? He continues to explain the gap of beauty to Olodumare. I wish to leave this gift to Oro. I ask of you to fill this pit with this feeling so that Oro will never feel this emptiness or hollow loneliness. I ask in your name Olodumare.
Olodumare, already having the knowledge of this feeling, was proud that this emotional spirit was known to Oddua on Oro. Olodumare also had the knowledge that this spiritual feeling will not remain on Oro once Oddua returns to the heavens. This spiritual feeling will return to the heavens with Oddua So he responds to oddua. This spiritual feeling you have obtained is who I am, "OLODUMARE". Upon your request I will deliver a portion of me so it may stay upon Oro and her family. Just as the words were spoken, Oddua sees white large and powerful clouds approaching. These clouds were as white and pure as he remembers in the heavens. Soon afterwards the clouds let out large droplets of water. These first droplets of water are a part of Olodumare. Olodumare filled this pit with a part of his identity. He felt that all his creations should have a part of his image. As these droplets fell into this crack, Oddua acknowledges that the pit is indeed filling up. While the droplets continue to drop, Oddua begins to feel that spiritual feeling filling up in this long, deep crack. The emotions become so great Oddua screams out this is "OSUN" "This is your son"
So the first use of "SON" "SUN" was to describe the true pure gift of Olodumare. A part of him, his "SUN". "OSUN" Oshun in other spellings. As you see, the first use of "SON" was to describe a part of Olodumare..
As Oddua screams out "Oshun" Olodumare replies... and we will call her..."LOVE"
"My SON LOVE WILL NOT JUST ACCOMPANY ORO BUT WILL ACCOMPANY EVERYTHING I CREATE AND HAVE GIVEN BIRTH TO" NO MATTER HOW DEEP, HOLLOW, EMPTY, SHALLOW OR DARK "LOVE" WILL BE THERE. YOU WON'T SEE IT, TOUCH IT, GRASP IT OR DUPLICATE IT. FOR "LOVE" IS I AND I WILL BE IN ALL ASE,ASE',ASE'.
"LOVE" IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IDENTITY EVER GIFTED TO US BY OLODUMARE
