The Pataki of the Heavens:

     Orunmila being pleased that there was now land, he came before Olodumare and told him the exciting news. Olodumare with the knowledge that land was created called upon Obatala and shared the news. Olodumare continued to create Irunmoles. While doing so Obatala noticed that there were some Irunmoles that were not following Olodumares path. They were less pure and continued to not just disregard Olodumares peace but were beginning to disrupt some of the other Irunmoles. Giving them other options deterring them from the path of Olodumare. Thus questioning the Almighty, creating some obstacles of disloyal,Disobedience,and for the first time there was a sense of no peace. Irunmoles were now creating a different path other than Olodumares. Obatala with the question came before Olodumare and in a conversation being questionable spoke to Olodumare and said you have made some Irunmoles that are not on the path you have written for all of us. we need to place Peace amongst the Irunmoles. Olodumare replied all my creations are pure and are beautiful. My Irunmoles are my creations and they shall exist as they wish in the heavens in peace. (Free will was born) In the heavens Irunmoles were now speaking to the almighty one on one and Olodumare was being questioned by these Irunmoles. Obatala felt that what Olodumare was creating was definitely not the Ideal path or was not the equal to the first 201 Irunmoles. what Obatala considered to be pure. Obatala felt that this situation should be corrected. Obatala was very strict in the heavens when it came to what he thought was peace. (Peace is now known as balance). As Olodumare finished his creations of Irunmoles, there were now 402 Irunmoles in heaven. Obatala still felt unease and asked Olodumare to separate these Irunmoles. Olodumare responded I will not judge my creations as they are all pure. If you want to Organize them you have to create a Identity that is capable of doing so. At first Obatala tried first to organize the Irunmoles. He was unable due to the fact that the Irunmoles were quick and traveled freely through the heavens. They also knew that Obatala was trying to organised them. Through this Obatala created his first Oricha. He needed a identity quicker than quick, intelligent and needed this Oricha to be able to get the Irunmoles attention. This Oricha identity shall look different from the Irunmoles.
